What to look for in these photos

These are full kitchen renovations, not cabinet refacing or countertop swaps. The photos show custom cabinetry built to the ceiling rather than leaving a gap above for dust to collect, waterfall-edge islands where the countertop material wraps down the sides instead of stopping at the edge, integrated panel-front appliances, and under-cabinet lighting on every run of uppers. Countertop materials across these projects include quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite, chosen for durability as much as appearance in a room that gets used daily.

A kitchen like the ones shown typically takes 4 to 8 weeks and starts from $25,000, with cost and timeline both increasing when the layout changes, particularly when a wall between the kitchen and an adjacent room comes out. That wall removal is one of the more common surprises in these projects: a fair number of older homes have a load-bearing wall exactly where an open-concept layout wants to go, which means an engineered beam and a permit before the rest of the kitchen can proceed.
