Lead paint, the Canadian version

Ignore the "1978" cutoff you find online; it is an American date tied to a US ban that carries no weight here. Canada's current limit on lead in coatings sold today is 90 mg/kg, which governs new paint, not what already sits under a St. Catharines home's older coats.
