Concrete walkways in Hamilton

Base prep matters here because Hamilton's ground shifts more over short distances than most cities we serve, sitting on dolostone caprock in parts of the lower city and softer shale or deeper clay elsewhere near the escarpment. We compact and grade the granular base evenly along the whole run so water sheds to the sides rather than sits and freezes under one stretch of slab.
